How I landed where I am

Hello, one and all!

This will be my first blog so forgive me if I fumble my way through this.

I come from a long line of artists. Specifically my Nana. She had a huge influence on my life. She gardened, created leather work, painted with oils, painted on ceramic, had her own ceramic studio in the basement with three Potter's wheels where she would throw clay creating spectacular works of art, a myriad of molds and glazes, and a huge kiln.

She baked and cooked simple foods but there was always good food on the table. Having lived through the depression she never once let anyone come without serving her visitors food and man was her food good. I think this is why my first creative outlet was cooking. Watching her feed others and received Joy from that was immensely life influencing.

So I became a chef and worked professionally for 12 years before deciding it wasn't exactly right for me. However, I still enjoy cooking today and took up baking about 15 years ago. But I never really found that one thing that truly spoke to my soul and brought me complete joy until now.

I am a Reiki master and I love making abstract art so I thought why not combine the two. As far as I know nobody else does this exact type of art. I saturate each piece with Reiki to ensure you will have art which will provide you a lifelong sense of love, calm and positive energy.

My goal, so to speak, however lofty, is to start in my corner of the world producing art which will permeate your home with this beautiful energy and spread it throughout the entire Globe. I said it was lofty!

Thank you for reading my very first blog and I hope you have the most amazingly gorgeous day!
